Sharon is a qualified solicitor working as Principal Solicitor on our Community Care team. Having worked across private practice, central government and local government authorities, Sharon has represented both the defence and claimant sides. Her career, spanning over 15 years, has been defined by her ability to manage high-volume, complex and politically sensitive cases.

Sharon has served as the sole legal advisor to various teams, including Adult Social Care and Community Health, as well as internal and external stakeholders, including NHS Trusts. She has been responsible for managing and coordinating legal services, making critical legal decisions and representing clients in various senior courts, including the High Court and the Court of Protection.

Throughout her career, Sharon has provided specialist legal advice, training and representation on various social care, mental health and mental capacity legislation. She has managed complex caseloads, developed litigation strategies and prepared briefings and risk evaluation reports.

Sharon holds an LLB Law (Hons) degree. In 2007, she completed the Bar Vocational Course and was called to the Bar of England and Wales. She began her legal career in commercial litigation at a multinational law firm and, after passing the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test (QLTT) in 2012, was admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. She is a member of the Law Society and is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
